STUDIO MANAGER - GHENT REGION
We’re a boutique sports studios with locations in Antwerp, Ghent and Brasschaat, offering beat-based BIKE, HIIT and REFORM group classes. Our first studio in Ghent is located on Zuidstationstraat, with a second location opening soon at Stapelplein.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will become our go-to person for everything related to our studios in and around the city of Ghent. Below are a few of the things you will be responsible for.
You will get full ownership of the operations from the studios and are the inspiration and leader of our frontdesk team. You act like a spider in the web ensuring Rite’s studio operations are run smoothly and without any hiccups.
• Assist in preparing for the opening of the new studio in Ghent
• Responsible for our studios in and around Ghent
• Hire, train, coach and support the front desk team
• Performance manage the frontdesk team and let go of non performers
• Create the weekly schedules for the front desk staff
• Create processes for the different tasks in the studio
• Set the atmosphere in the studios so your team loves to come to work
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studios
• Actively lead by example during shifts and being daily present in one of our studios (+3 shifts rotating shifts a week)
• Own customer service through email
• Reports directly to our operations manager
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• A strong interest in sport and passionate about hospitality and people
• A natural leader, that cares for the team
• Experience in staff recruitment and training is preferable
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Dutch
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and planning skills
• A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Flexible within studio opening hours
• Preferably + - 1 year work experience
• Drivers license B required
• Living in Ghent region
