FAQ

1.    The workout

What type of classes do you offer?

We offer three types of group workouts (BIKE, HIIT & REFORM) and open gym. Sessions last between 45-50 minutes and will take your mind off everything. Our BIKE workout is a fun and sweaty experience where you ride on an indoor bike in the dark to epic beats with only candlelight to lead the way. Our HIIT is set in a way that alternates between cardio, intervals on the treadmill, and weighted floor exercises. Our REFORM uses the practice of Reformer Pilates where you sculpt your muscles, strengthen your body, and relax your mind.

I have never done cycling, can I join the BIKE class?

YES! One of the best things about Rite is that you can make the workout as hard or as easy as you want. BIKE works with a resistance handle that you can tweak to your fitness and experience level. The instructors will always ask who is new at the start of the class so they can keep an eye on you and give you an intro to the different parts of the bike. What’s most important is that you go at your own rhythm and let the music be your guide. You will see that you quickly build confidence and strength and you improve workout after workout, regardless of your starting point.

What do I need to bring?

No need to bring anything apart from your workout gear and sports shoes. For REFORM, the grip socks are mandatory (these can be purchased at the front desk). For the BIKE we will provide you with the right (clip-in) shoes free of charge. For all workouts, we will provide you with a workout towel. Our bathrooms have shower towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, make-up products, toiletries, hair dryers, etc. Basically everything you need to get ready afterwards to go to work or head for dinner and drinks with friends.

Are there different workout levels?

One of the best things about all our workouts is that they can be adapted to any fitness level. You are always in control of your own efforts and resistance. With every class comes increased confidence and strength, so we encourage first-timers to go at their own pace and have fun.

Do you offer personal training or can I join open gym equipment?

“You shall never sweat alone” is one of the ten commandments of Rite and we live by that. We do not offer PT because we believe the group workout empowers you to join our community, and helps you push your limits while focusing on the fun side of the workout. Our instructors will always keep a close eye on your technique and will guide and correct you where needed. We do offer open gym sessions, check more info on that on our Workouts page.

2.    Membership & credits

I would like to do a try-out, is that possible?

Absolutely! You can opt for a single credit or our Intro pack of 2 credits to try our workouts. There is no admin or subscription fee, so if you don’t like it there’s not much to lose. You just select the workout you would like to attend, create your account and then select the 1 Rite or a Intro pack on the payment page.

How can I attend classes? How do I buy credits & register?

In order to attend one of our Rites you have to book your spot online before every session. To do so you need to:

  1. Create an account (takes only a few clicks)
  2. Purchase credits
  3. Choose your class and reserve your desired spot
Can I use my credits on any of the workouts you offer?

Yes you can. Credits can be freely used in booking your spot for either the BIKE, HIIT, REFORM or open gym.

How long are my credits valid?

Credits are valid for 1 year. Don’t worry, when we get closer to the expiration date we will send you plenty of reminders to let you know they are expiring soon.

Can I share my credits?

You can’t transfer your credits to another account.

Can I bring a friend with me?

You certainly can. Just ask them to create an account and select the 1 Rite or any other pack on the payment page.

Can I come to one of the classes without a reservation?

Unfortunately you can’t. To make sure that people can arrive stress-free and have their favourite spot waiting for them, we ask people to book their slot ahead of the start time of the class. If you want we can help you create an account and book your class in our studio. Just come by during our opening hours and we will help you out.

How do I buy new credits?
  1. Online on our website
  2. In-studio at reception
Can I buy a monthly membership?

We want to give you the flexibility to pay as you go. But we also want to reward our loyal customers, so to that extent you can buy single classes but can also buy a 50 Rites pack that allows you to take 50 classes at a significantly lower cost (€9 per Rite instead of €14).

3.    The classes

Do I need to create an account?

Yes. If you want to buy credits to be able to book and attend classes, you need to create an account. It’s important for us to have your contact information to keep you updated about our schedules and any potential changes. Don’t worry, we respect your privacy.

I did not make it to my class, what happens to my credits?

Unfortunately we kept your spot reserved, so if you didn’t show up you will lose that credit. You can cancel for free until up to 12 hours before your class. If you don’t cancel and don’t show up you will be charged the credit for that class.

When are the schedules online?

The schedules go online on Friday at noon. This way you can book your Rite at least one week in advance.

Are there any in-class rules I should be aware of?

We don’t have any rules and we want you to enjoy the experience to the fullest. However, we do have a few asks to make sure you make the most of your experience and so does everyone else:

  • Please come on time. It will make your Rite so much more stress free and you will be able to fully focus on your workout. Unfortunately we don’t let late joiners into the class.
  • No talking and phones please. Our Rites allow you to focus on yourself so please use the 45 minutes to do just that. We do encourage you to sing or scream along with the music.
  • Our Rite studio is a judgement free zone. No egos, no judgements, only uplifting each other is allowed. We thrive in bettering ourselves but also in bettering others. A high five and an encouraging tap on the back is what we love to see. Remember, everyone once was a beginner.
Until when can I cancel my booking without losing my credit?

If you need to cancel your spot, you have until 10 hours before class. We want to make sure we give other people the opportunity to join so please cancel your class as soon as possible. Late cancellations & no-shows will be fully charged and credits will not be reimbursed.

How can I cancel my booking?

To avoid being charged if you can not join, please cancel your booking through your account on our website. Please note that there is a cancellation deadline. You can cancel your classes up to 10 hours before class. Not canceling and not showing up is considered a No show for which you will be charged your credit.

  • Go to your account
  • Click on the Bookings
  • Click 'Cancel' to cancel your class
How early should I come?

We advise everyone to come 15 minutes before the start of each class. For first timers it’s especially important to come 15 minutes early so we can give you a warm welcome, help you with the setup of your bike (for the BIKE class) or to show you how the equipment works (for the HIIT and REFORM).

We will refuse entry to anyone after the class has started to ensure an optimal experience for everyone else. Please come early to make the most of your experience.

4.    The studio

Where can I find the Rite studio?

You can find us in the middle of the Kloosterstraat (number 66) and just a few steps away in the Riemstraat 13 (REFORM studio) in Antwerp.

Do your bathrooms have showers?

Fuck yeah, and they are great! Our showers and bathrooms are also fully equipped with silky soft towels, and a full line of organic care products ranging from shower gel, to shampoo to bodylotion and so much more. We also provide a hair dryer and other toiletries for you to leave our studio even hotter than you came in.

How can we reach you?

You can always come by our studio during our opening hours. Alternatively you can send us an email at info@rite-studios.com or you can always slide into our DMs on Instagram.

Do you have lockers?

Absolutely, and a lot of them. You can leave all your stuff in the locker, which works with a 4-digit code. No need to bring a lock.

I left some stuff in my locker or lost it somewhere in the studio

We keep lost items for up to a month at our reception. After that we donate everything to charity. Feel free to drop by during our opening times or to shoot us an email at info@rite-studios.com and we will help you get your lost item back.

Can I share feedback?

Hell yeah! We love feedback. Feel free to come by our studio during our opening hours and share the feedback directly with us. Alternatively you can also send us an email at info@rite-studios.com. Don’t hold back, the only way for us to improve is by listening to you.
